The lily in the bed south of the house has started to show off in all its stunning clear white color and rich fragrance. The one by the barn has also opened… and it is a creamy yellow color. I hope it comes through in the picture. What I know won’t come thru is the amazing fragrance. So lovely.
First, here pictures of the white one in the bed south of the house. I am pleased with this bed this year. It is the one I can see from the sofa in the living room.

Here is Cousin also enjoying the view of the flowers.

And here is the creamy yellow one near the barn. I really had thought that this one was also white. But when I look back to the pictures from last year, definitely yellow tint.

Here is Vladimir with his irresistible paws.

Lovely. They are so spectacular! Slugs ate half my Lilly buds and hail knocked off the rest so I really enjoyed your post!

So glad you could get some of the visual pleasure –even without the fragrance. I’m sure I will be posting more pictures of these. I am entranced by them this year.

The white looks like ‘Casa Blanca’ – my favorite Oriental Lily. They yellow could be ‘Conca d’Or’ maybe, a Trumpet-Oriental hybrid.

I think you are right about the Conca d’Or. I will ask the friend who gave it me about the white one. Very useful to have looked up some information about Conca d’Or,
