More of the tulips are opening. I think these frilly purple ones suffered from the recent snow flurries. They look a bit more twisted than I think they are meant to.

These yellow ones are opening quite nicely and seem none the worse for the weather wear.


The ones above are new this year and I don’t quite remember what I put in last fall. The ones below are definitely a peony tulip and I believe these turn different colors as they continue to bloom.

On Sunday afternoon I mowed the back; I had mowed the front the weekend before, but this is the first cutting of the back lawn. It looks decent right now. We’ll see how it looks later in the season.
