April 2021 Hyacinths and tulips and a kitty tongue

There are several clumps of hyacinth, and doing well. Two of the happiest bunches are these –one by the front fence and one in this bed where I have a new stone (boulder).

By front fence.
By the boulder (except you can’t see it here….).
Here is the boulder in a picture from a few days ago.
These are the ones near the front fence.
These are the ones in the back. I am trying to figure out if they might be different varieties. I ordered them and planted them and I have no idea if I got different ones.
Also near the front fence are these tulips —“peony style tulips” –if they perform as they did last year, they put on quite a show, with a long run. Here, below, is one that looks like it could burst.
This is a flowering almond hedge/ bush a friend gave me (Prunus glandulosa ‘Rosea Plena’).
I don’t remember the kind of these frilly tulips, but I am glad to see they might do well this year. They didn’t do much last year. The red with variegated foliage really came on this year from last. So many more plants and so many more blooms. They must really like it here.
And to round things out, here is Claribel sticking out her tongue at all of us.
