July 2018 Mid-July Garden

I was away for less than two weeks and returned to a jungle in the garden. The new portion of fence is completed. Clearly, I over-planted the new vegetable bed. The flowers are very happy though, and I have already seen two hummingbirds since returning home!

  1. They picked their own spot –some blew in from a neighbor and I took a bit of care of them and they have really spread. But I think the real secret to it is that they chose their own location. They don’t get that much water there but they certainly get lots of sun.
